holy shit this sounds amazing
when youtube suggestions dry up i come back here for a reminder of whats possible, made in minutes and one of my favourite musical pieces of all time, please make a full track for this and go on spotify bro !!
I love it!
You're inspired us for a song with that exact bass and chords.
from a recommended video, to one of my favorite videos I watch daily. awesome jam man.
You sync Ableton's clock to the 707?
It sounds like Chicago House, not Lo-Fi house. But I like it anyway
I love it, for me the best tracks come from uncomplicated foundations , just layer upon layer of nice sounds that work together , some nice simple minor 7th chords on a juno sound awesome. This is why house is amazing
wow thank you!

What preset number did you use for the bass?
none, the presets in my juno is broken : / possibly the battery is running out but I have not been able to fix it... I usually click out both waveforms and only use the sub osc, I don't remember how I did this time but thats a good trick! Another tis to click in both Poly buttons 1 & 2 at the same time then you have all six voices as a monophonic mega bass 😵💫
Amazing jam :) Can I ask you something? I've just got myself an RD8, Ju-06A and a VP-03. I wanted to jam in a similar way like you do but I'm having problems understanding the MIDI on those devices. They kinda misbehave and the patterns are not what I've initially programmed upon hitting "play" button. Also... 16 step sequencers are definitely not of my liking. In the context of your video, do you sync all this vintage gear via MIDI interface to your computer and use, say - ableton to sequence them? If yes then do you record midi notes or actual audio from your Juno? In other words... how do you do your magic? :) Cheers mate!
Thanks! I usually use Ableton as the master clock/sync for tempo and play/stop. I record the audio from the Juno so that one is not in the midi loop. My tip is to activate sync on your sound card in Ableton (help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209071149-Synchronizing-Live-via-MIDI) and then connect MIDI out from your audio interface to MIDI in to the drum machine, then out to the next one and so on. It's the same principle for most software I guess.. But use the thing you record on as clock! Then record the audio from the machines, it's nice when they are milliseconds out of sync : )
Great!!!!!!!!
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
